partnership through the process
We strive to answer questions you don't know to ask and provide you with the information you need to be overly prepared for your appraisal and fully understand your results.
our livelihood is your legacy, too
Selling or purchasing a home most likely affects more than just yourself. We equip you with the knowledge you need to make secure decisions regarding your investments and future. Your success is ours.
precision matters
A sound appraisal reflects a vast understanding of the market, highly developed critical thinking skills, and keen attention to detail. We've learned preparation and precision are essential in producing meaningful results.
integrity and guts
Every call that we take, every inspection that we perform, it all goes back to strengthening relationships and partnering with people to reach a common goal.
in the end, it's what we give back
CMP has some incredible charities we work with throughout the year. We're thrilled to have them as part of the CMP family.
Chris, Chief Certified Residential
Real Estate Appraiser
Chris is a U.S. Army Infantry veteran who served in Arlington National Cemetery and then went on to 10 plus years as a Homicide Detective and SWAT Sniper for the Police Force. He is a graduate of The George Washington University and is a Candidate for SRA designation through the Appraisal Institute. Chris's favorite part of the Appraisal Profession is the ability to meet new people each day and help solve each unique problem or situation. He still sees several similarities between his previous career and current one. For example, he still spends most of his time in people's homes, only now he is invited. Two, he now prefers arriving at properties knowing the inhabitants are alive and well. And three, he still enjoys the investigation process needed in order to make the most precise determination. When Chris is not appraising Virginia Beach and beyond, he can be found enjoying bushcraft with the Perry clan in the backyard, sharpening his target practice skills, or on the Brazillian jiu jitsu mat.
Brittany, Operations Manager
Brittany, worked at a Crisis Support Worker before graduating with an M.Ed. from George Mason University. She worked for nearly 10 years as a preschool and elementary school teacher before she and Chris decided to take the leap into the family Appraisal business. Britt is grateful everyday for the freedom and flexibility the profession has provided. She loves connecting and building relationships with the many names and personalities that make up their family's community and the adventure each new day brings. Wherever there is live music and sand, you will almost always see this Mom leading her cherubs in the same direction.
Trish, Appraiser Trainee
Trish joins the CMP Family as a U.S. Air Force veteran where she played clarinet by the side of her saxophone savvy husband, and fellow Air Force Band member, John Fritz. Trish went on to run the family music business at FritzPro Music, Inc for the next 20 years and John retired from the Air Force after 22 years and now teaches music at Kingston Elementary in Little Neck. Their absolute highlight of life was the day they got the call, after 17 years of waiting and hoping, that they would finally be adopting their beautiful daughter, Rosina! Trish spent several years as a Realtor with Howard Hanna and brings a strong understanding of market knowledge, interpersonal skills, and a determined drive to deliver top standards in the Industry. When not behind a computer, you can find Trish and her family in the backyard grilling enough food for the entire neighborhood of Royal Grant or lounging by the pool...personal concerts are almost always taken at request!
